The Garber Facility houses the National Air & Space Museum’s reserve collection of historically significant air and space craft. There is no heating or air conditioning in the building, so visitors should dress appropriately. Tours of the museum’s conservation/restoration facility (warehouse & exhibit area) in Suitland, MD are available Monday-Friday at 10am, and on weekends at 10am and 1pm. Tours last 3 hours. Reservations are required, and must be made in writing 3 to 8 weeks in advance.
